At Shookra
At Shookra, our Semi-Permanent Makeup (SPMU) treatments blend advanced micropigmentation technology with medical-grade protocols — delivering natural, lasting enhancement for brows, lips, and eyes. Each session is performed by a licensed clinical aesthetician, ensuring strict hygiene, facial harmony, and custom pigment selection based on your skin undertone and facial structure.
What is SPMU?
SPMU is a form of cosmetic tattooing that subtly enhances facial features using pigment implanted into the upper dermal layer. Unlike traditional tattoos, these pigments are designed to fade over time, allowing for adjustments as your features evolve.
Perfect for those who want to:
- Define sparse or uneven brows
- Enhance lip shape, symmetry, and tone
- Create natural-looking eyeliner
- Save time on daily makeup application
- Restore definition post-hair loss (alopecia, chemotherapy)
Luxury Definition. Lasting Precision.
Shookra’s SPMU services combine clinical-grade micropigmentation with artistry — enhancing your features with long-lasting, natural-looking results. Using the latest European and US-certified products, our treatments are pain-free, hyper-personalized, and backed by medical expertise.

Inside Shookra
Common questions
What is Semi-Permanent Makeup (SPMU)?
SPMU is a form of cosmetic micropigmentation that enhances your natural features by implanting medical-grade pigment into the upper dermal layer. It’s ideal for defining the lips, eyebrows, and eyes — with results that fade gradually over 1–3 years.
How long does SPMU last?
- Lip Blush: 3–4 years
- Lash Line Enhancement: 2–3 years
- Nanoblading (Brows): 6 months to 2 years
- Brow & Lash Lamination: 5–8 weeks
Longevity depends on skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and pigment color.
Is the procedure painful?
No — all SPMU treatments at Shookra are pain-free. We use advanced numbing creams and nano-needling technology designed for sensitive skin. Most clients report only mild pressure or vibration during the procedure.
Are the pigments safe?
Yes. Shookra uses FDA-approved, organic pigments sourced from the USA and Europe. They are hypoallergenic, toxin-free, and designed to fade naturally without discoloration over time.
Will it look natural?
Absolutely. Our focus is always on enhancing your existing beauty with subtle, proportional results that complement your natural contours.
How long is the downtime after treatment?
Downtime is minimal:
- You may experience light swelling or tenderness for 24–48 hours.
- Peeling and soft fading occur during the first 5–10 days (especially for lips and brows).
A touch-up session is recommended after 4–6 weeks for best results.
Is SPMU suitable for dark or pigmented lips?
Yes. Our lip blush correction protocol is designed to neutralize melanin-rich or darker lips first — then layer soft tints to achieve a lighter, more even tone. Multiple sessions may be needed for optimal results.
Can I wear makeup after my SPMU treatment?
We recommend avoiding makeup on the treated area for 7–10 days post-procedure to allow proper healing. You can apply makeup elsewhere on the face with clean tools.
What’s the difference between microblading and nanoblading?
- Microblading uses a manual blade, which can be harsher on the skin.
- Nanoblading uses a finer, machine-guided needle that causes less trauma and produces more precise, natural strokes — especially suited for sensitive or oily skin.
At Shookra, we only offer nanoblading for optimal safety and aesthetics.
Can I do SPMU while pregnant or breastfeeding?
No. We do not perform SPMU on clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding due to hormonal fluctuations and pigment retention variability. You're welcome to consult us and book your treatment after this period.
